Mommy's Birthday

I had my 30th birthday last week and I think Izzy thought it was her party. She got to open a couple of belated Christmas presents from great auntie Deb and the Stehlik family, I let her help blow out the candles and I even let her stick her fingers in my frosting!

Izzy loves to go down the slide and after our last snow on Sunday, I had to kick the snow out from under the swing so her feet wouldn't keep catching on the ground!

Winter Fun

Believe it or not we had almost 10 days of above average weather here in January. Izzy loves to play outside and I would have to haul her in over my shoulder kicking and crying at dark. She brings her baby everywhere and likes to push her in the swing. My worry is, if Izzy's baby is in the baby swing, where is Mommy's Baby going to go this spring??

Flu

Even though we had a great Christmas, we couldn't escape the stomach flu. Izzy got sick on Christmas Day at Grandma Marcia's and at home. She was a trooper though and played with her gifts as best as she could with the Pascuzzi family.

Izzy got very good at opening presents although she was very polite picking up her paper saying "gabage" and stopped and wanted to play with everything before moving on.

Izzy learned a thing or two about how to eat a Christmas dinner from Papa Tom.

Christmas Fun

This year Tony, Izzy and I went to Fosston the day before Christmas Eve and we came back to Cook on Christmas Day in a blizzard. We had a great time visiting family and Izzy especially loved hanging out with her cousins Gabby and Thomas. They ran around the house together screaming and Izzy called Gabby "Gobby", it was too cute. She hugged her tight when it was time to go and talked about her for days when we got home.

Santa

Izzy had a Christmas party at her daycare on Dec. 22nd and Santa, the big man himself, made an appearance. When he came, the kids were eating their snack and Izzy just watched him carefully. But, when it came time to sit on his lap, there was no way she was going to get that close. It was so cute!
