Too Cute!

"Cause you gotta have Friends.."

We had a play date yesterday with my friends Lori and her son Brady and Amy and her daughter Avery. Brady is 4 months old, Isabel is 3 months, and Avery is one month on the 30th. It was so nice to sit and talk with other moms about our children and not feel guilty that that is all we are talking about! I made lunch and brought it over to Amy's house, which is only 5 minutes away from us in Hugo and Lori drove from Shakopee. Here are the kids at play!

Weekend in Fosston

We ventured back up north to Fosston this weekend with Isabel and the dogs hoping that it wouldn't snow this time! We enjoyed seeing many of my relatives and many of them had not seen Isabel because of the storm last time. We had a great time visiting and congratulating my cousin Brady on his high school graduation. When we came home tonight we were greeted by intense storms and a tornado that went just a mile or two north of our house. The destruction is unbelievable and we feel so fortune that our house is still standing.

Birthday Boys

Today is Louis' 5th birthday and tomorrow is Oliver's 3rd so we are celebrating for two days straight! We went for a 4 1/2 mile walk/run today and I bake them a chicken liver cake every year. They might get a Dairy Queen cone too but we will save that for tomorrow.

Water Baby!

Izzy loves the water and she kicks and moves her arms so fast that there is more water on the floor and counter than in her tub!

Izzy and her Daddy love to lay in bed and watch T.V. The dogs usually join in too!

Summer clothes

It is finally starting to feel and look like summer around here and Isabel is finally able to wear her cute summer clothes. Here she is at 11 weeks in an outfit her great-grandma Miller bought her. She loves to hang on to things now that she has figured out how her fingers work and she loves to hold her Teddy blanket.

Babysitters

The dogs love Isabel and they watch her like a hawk. Oliver still howls when she cries and Louis tries to sleep by her crib every night. Here they are playing on the bed.

Tony went to Las Vegas and he brought back this visor for Isabel. We are walking or jogging ever day now and she hates the sun in her eyes so it was a perfect gift. Here she is after one of our walks; they usually put her right to sleep!

Remodeling

We are in the process of remodeling our kitchen and Tony's dad came down for the weekend to help. Isabel loved all the action and didn't nap for two days. She finally crashed on Sunday and fell asleep at 2pm, only waking up to eat, until Monday morning. We are excited to be done with the mess and have a beautiful and functional kitchen!

Fun at Auntie Jessica's

Saturday night Isabel and I went to Jessica's house to play. I made lasagna in her new kitchen and the girls had a baby party in her living room. Isabel got a few more outfits from her cousin Gabby but I think they will be the same size pretty soon so this might be the end of it! We have been so lucky to get so many cute outfits from Jessica and Gabby. Here are the kids playing on the floor! Gabby is almost 6 months old, Thomas will be 4 in July, and Isabel is 2 months.

Two Months Old

Isabel was two months old on Tuesday and she had to go to the doctor for a check-up and her shots. She is 13 lbs. 8 oz. and almost 25 inches long! She is in the 95% for height so we have her in 6-9 month clothing so that they are long enough for her. I had to have Tony come with so that he could hold her down for her vaccines; I couldn't even look at her! Here she is playing under her baby gym, she loves the purple elephant. It is so fun to hear her talk and giggle I don't get a thing done all day except hold her and play with her!
