Trip to Fosston

We set out on Friday for Isabel's first trip to Fosston and we had no idea what we were in for. We drove straight into a blizzard with Fosston getting at least a foot of snow! Isabel's baby shower was canceled but she did get to see her grandparents and a few aunts and uncles. Here she is with her great grandma Miller.

Spring was here!

Spring was here momentarily and Isabel loved being outside. Grandma Diane came down for the night last Wed. and it was 77 degrees so we enjoyed the weather while grilling and having cocktails on the deck. Here she is in her pooh sun hat having a ball!

Isabel has gotten so big already it is truly amazing. She is almost out of three month clothing at 7 weeks. Here she is with her mommy and daddy at 6 weeks.

The weekend was extra special because we were celebrating the engagement of Gina and Justin (and I even got to have some champagne this time!). They are planning a July 2009 wedding. Our dogs love Justin and won't leave him alone the whole time he is at the house. Here he is with all of our kids.

Here she is with her auntie Gina who spoils her rotten already! I think I went 4 hours without holding her!

First Trip to Cook

We went to Cook last weekend and it was Isabel's first overnight trip. She slept the entire way (3 hours) there and back so that was great! She adapted well to being at both grandma Di's and grandma Marcia's house. Diane, Gina and Marcia had a beautiful shower for her at the church where she got all kinds of wonderful gifts. She is one lucky girl!

Sleeping like her Daddy!

Last night Isabel slept for 8 hours! She is 5 weeks old today and I can't believe it. Of course I was awake almost every hour for the last 3 hours. I attempted to wake Tony and ask him if I should wake her after the 6th hour. I was thinking "she must be so hungry and wet.." he grunted and I decided to wait it out. I stood over her crib watching to make sure she was breathing. She just moved out of the bassinet in our room to her crib in her room two nights ago and she is sleeping better than ever. Here she is taking a bath last night before bed. She loves baths now and hates to get out!

One Month Old

Here is Isabel all ready to go to the doctor for her one month check-up on Wednesday. She is 10 lbs. 12 oz. and almost 23 inches long. She is growing like a weed and perfect in every way!

Cousins

We enjoyed Easter dinner at my sister Jessica's house this year. She cooked a ham and potatoes and we got to take our first pictures of Izzy with her cousins Thomas and Gabby.
