Isabel gets pretty wild when she is playing and lately she has been into her dolls and stuffed animals. She pretends that they walk around and then she SLAMS them on the floor. Should I be worried?

Pigtails

Izzy's hair is going though a growth spurt all of a sudden so today I tried to put it in piggy tails. She looked so cute I tried to get Tony to practice them so he can fix her hair like that for daycare in the morning but his thumbs are pretty big and the rubber bands are pretty small.

Gardening

Isabel is turning into quite the little gardener. Gone are the days when she slept in the travel swing while I played in the dirt. I have to admit I got more done last summer because so far all I do is get her busy doing something, put my gloves on and start something, and then take my gloves off and chase her.

Busy Izzy

My mom was here this week and she was calling Isabel "Busy Izzy". She is so busy that sometimes she just stops and lays down for a minute where ever she is. Then she gets up and goes again like "I'm not tired, I was just resting my head for a minute." Here she is playing in my cupboards, in her toys, and with her wagon.

Playtime

Isabel and Avery got to play again a few weeks ago and they are so cute together. They are both daddy's girls and loved sitting on our bar and seeing what they could chew on. I can't wait for this summer so we can take the girls to the park together.

Dystrophy Dash

Izzy and I and our friends Josie and Lucas walked the 5k Dystrophy Dash at our school on Saturday. Both kiddos are so mobile right now that they don't like to just hang out in their strollers for too long so we used the wagon Izzy got from grandma and grandpa Pascuzzi for Christmas. They had snacks and sippys and toys but things got a little rough towards the end. Izzy slept for two hours after we got back; I carried her directly into her crib and "zonk".

Papa Pascuzzi and his pride and joy!

Thanks grandma and grandpas' for a wonderful Easter weekend! Love, Izzy

"I can't crawl in this darn dress. Maybe I should learn to walk after all."
Speaking of walking, Izzy took her first steps on Thursday at the greenhouse. She is such a fast crawler that she doesn't really want to walk- little stinker!

"I'm so tired..do I have to go to church?"

How many people does it take to dress a baby?

Izzy had a beautiful Easter dress and she was so good in church considering she was very tired. It was a long service with a baptism and communion and we did have to leave once (I took her Cheerios away because she was spilling them all over). We went up for the Children's sermon and Izzy being her fiesty little self walked up and down the front pew, took her shoes off and hit the little boy in front of us over the head with them. Needless to say they were soft little shoes.

The boys loved being at the lake like usual but this time they both made it their mission to break up the ice. Louis would break up the edge and Oliver would haul the chunks out to the beach. It was so funny.

Grandma Di and Izzy

We finally got it right!

We had our first bonfire of the spring and Izzy and the boys loved it. We tried to take a family picture but of course it was a typical Pascuzzi picture with everyone going everywhere!

Izzy, Grandma Marcia, and the bunny she made.

"I could have sworn there was an egg around here somewhere..."

We had an Easter egg hunt at grandma Marcia's on Saturday. Isabel loved finding them and eating the goodies inside. Grandma Marcia knitted Izzy a beautiful rabbit that she cuddles with.

"These rocks don't taste as good as they look..."

Isabel has so much energy, it is unbelievable sometimes. I have been taking her outside to play since she was 6 weeks old and it is so fun to see all the things she can do now as she has grown. Everyday is an adventure! Here she is playing at the playground in Cook.

Easter

We spent Easter weekend up in Cook and we enjoyed beautiful weather for April. Isabel and the dogs played outside at the lake and we also went to the playground on Saturday to slide and swing. Tony and I got a chance to have fun too as Don and Marcia had an extra room at Fortune Bay on Friday night for us. We all had fun at the hotel in the pool; especially Izzy! She loves the water and we are hoping that when we go up for Memorial Day that she will be able to swim in Vermilion! I am going to bet not but stranger things have happened.

Izzy playing in the grass.

Helping daddy in the garage!

Waiting for Spring...

Isabel has been very patient waiting for spring to arrive. She has been playing outside all bundled-up for months now and it looks like we are going to have to wait a few more days before we can shed the extra clothing. She loves being outside and it completely wears her out. I can't wait for summer so that we can spend the day playing in the sunshine with our puppies. Despite the cooler weather we have been going for long walks everyday again and Izzy loves it.
