Traveling Girl
So far this summer we have been traveling a lot visiting both grandparents. Izzy and I were in Cook for a couple of days last week to help with a rummage sale at grandpa Russ's. We ended up not helping as much as we planned but we did have fun at the lake with Marcia and Don. It was very hot so it was nice that we could enjoy the water. Then we came home on Wednesday and left Thursday for Fosston. It was nice to see my parents and grandmas too as Grandma Miller moved into the nursing home last week. Izzy liked seeing all of the residents and even tried to play "ball" with some of them using the exercise ball. We are home for a few days and then we are going up to Cook again for the 4th of July weekend. Then we have Gina's wedding in Duluth in a couple of weeks so it is going to be one of those summers!

Summer Fun
Last weekend my parents came down and stayed with Izzy and me. Tony was in Chicago for the Twins series against the Cubs and I know he had a good time as well. My mom and dad, Judy and Paul, Jessica and Andy, and Izzy and I went to the horse track in Forest Lake on Friday. Isabel loved the ponies and she would whinny at the them and make trotting sounds when they ran by. We went to Jessica's house on Saturday and the kids had a lot of fun playing in the summer sun. Isabel went to bed at 9:30pm, her latest ever! Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

Reunion pictures
Cook
Last weekend we were in Cook for Tony's 10 year reunion. We also had a bridal shower for Auntie Gina on Friday night and Grandpa Mark's birthday to celebrate on Sunday. It was a very busy weekend! Here is a picture of Izzy helping Gina open one gift a little early at the house. She liked the paper the best. The shower was very nice with almost 45 people there. Only 5 weeks until the wedding!
Mommy's little helper
Isabel is a very busy little girl and lately she has been helping mommy with everything. She helps me clean the bathroom (she doesn't even need gloves for the toilet), give the dogs a bath, fold laundry, load and unload the silverware in the dishwasher (mainly unload) and she is especially good at putting away groceries. She hands me things out of the bag and keeps a few things to load in the back of her princess car. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful helper!
