Izzy, Brady, and Avery
The three amigo's were able to get together again on President's Day. Lori, Amy and I were all pregnant together and we got together frequently this summer but it has been a little harder this winter. Lori is pregnant with baby number two so that is exciting! It was really fun to see the three of them interact and how different each of their personalities are. Brady is 1 year and two weeks, Izzy 11 1/2 months, Avery 9 1/2 months.
Valentine's Day
Isabel had her first Valentine's Day party at Barb's and many of the kids didn't end up coming so they decided to have the party this Friday. We had great grandpa Don and grandma Marcia stay with us on Wed. and Izzy got some very cute presents for Valentine's Day from everyone. Then we headed up to Fosston for the weekend for some fun with grandpa Tony and grandma Jodi. We went out for dinner at The Stadium and Izzy did really well sitting and eating. Here she is holding up one of the outfits Marcia bought her. Marcia also made Izzy a hat and a pair of PJ pants.
New Toys!
Last weekend I drove to two different houses and picked up some new toys for Izzy that I found on Craigs List and a new toy box. She loves everything and has played with them for two weeks non-stop. I think we should all do a "toy swap" every month to keep our little ones active and having fun! Here she is peeking in and pulling things out. Tony said he could hear her talking one morning while he was getting ready for work but he couldn't find her and he looked in the toy box and there she was looking out at him!

Cook
We spend last weekend in Cook and unfortunately I ended up very sick and in the hospital. We were lucky that Great Grandma Marcia and Grandma and Grandpa Diane and Mark were there to take such good care of Izzy. Tony helped work on the house as much as he could with me sick and things seem to be coming along. Isabel loved playing in Grandma Di's kitchen. Isabel could say "Mark" by the end of the weekend; it was so cute.
Swimming
Isabel has been taking a swimming class for the last 4 weeks at the YMCA with two of her friends Avery and Lucas. She loves the water and on the first day her instructor said that she was a natural swimmer. She has no fear and has gone "under" several times already. She can hold on to the edge all by herself and "swim" on her stomach using her arms and legs. Here is she in her Sea Turtle class.
11 Months Old
My little angel is 11 months old she is really letting her personality shine through. She has always been an easy-going baby and I can honestly say that I enjoy being with her everyday. That is not to say that we don't have our struggles, but it is such a joy watching her learn, grow, and explore the world around her. Wherever we go, she brings a smile to people's faces, whether it is the grocery store or our friends Paul and Judy's. She loves life and it shows.
