Birthdays, Birthdays, Birthdays!

We party all winter long in the Pascuzzi household. It starts with Baya in December, she turned 1, followed by Josey (4) and I in January, Izzy (9) in February, Vinny (7) in March, Charley (2) and Frazer (3) in April, Tony in May, and Max (2) in June. Whew! Everyone is having a great year and we are so happy it is finally spring on Frazer Bay. The loons were back the day after the ice went out (April 14th, Charley's bday) and the lake and the woods are alive again after a long winter.

Welcome Back

It has been 4 years since I have updated my family blog and we have had many changes in The Pascuzzi Family. First of all, we added two kids and two cats, ambitious aren't we? Sadly we lost two of our furry babies, Louis just this fall, and Oliver last summer. I am going to try to update often (in my "spare" time 😉).
Baya and Max...yes she thinks she is a cat on the table.

Mexico

Tony and I went to Cancun for 5 days and 4 nights in February and we had a wonderful time. We ate, drank and read by the pool. We went out at night and slept in and were accountable to no one; the perfect vacation.

Yummy pasta with Pascuzzi spaghetti sauce, carrots and dip, and Dora cake and cupcakes.

Izzy and her friends had fun playing on our merry-go-round, sledding, and playing red-light-green-light in the yard.

Here are some of the birthday kids playing on Izzy and Vinny's new bunk beds.

Izzy's 4th Birthday

My little girl is 4 years old now after celebrating her 4th birthday on February 29th. We had a big party with all her friends. Dora was the theme and it was a blizzard for most of the state but we escaped with only a couple of inches that day which made for great outdoor fun. We had play time, dinner, cake and presents.

Vinny and Papa Mark playing on Christmas Eve.

Winter Walking

Since we have had a mild winter with only a few days too cold to walk. Oliver and Louis are lucky because I get done with school an hour early everyday so we have time to walk. Here they are on a cold day getting ready to head out. I think I only had 1 day that my eyelashes froze shut and it was 5 above. Oliver needs new boots for next year.

We spent Christmas Day in Fosston with my family and the kids had a blast.

Izzy is always chasing after Vinny trying to tell him what to do.

Busy Winter

Since I have been working on another graduate degree I have had very little "free" time, especially on the Internet since my school work is all online. I have neglected the blog. I will try to be better this spring about doing a couple of posts a month so everyone can see how the kids are doing.

We have had a lot happening around the Pascuzzi house this winter. Vinny moved from a crib to a toddler bed over Christmas break and most recently Tony installed bunk beds in February and built them some cool stairs and shelves. We have a toy room and a bedroom now and it seems to be working great. Here are a couple of pictures from Christmas.

Santa

We went to see Santa at the "Christmas in Cook" event and Izzy asked for a "pretty necklace, a ring, and a hair salon". Vinny started crying and said, "No! No!!". He wouldn't even go near him.

Louis is such a good boy. He still sleeps with Izzy but now Vinny tries to call him in to his room. He usually lays in Vinny's room while the stories are being read and then crawls into Izzy's bed so she can read to him. If he could only talk he would know a ton of books by heart.

Wedding

In October we went to Grand Forks to my cousin Lynne's wedding and the kids had a blast. They were the first ones on the dance floor and Tony and I had to drag them literally off at 9pm. They swam and ate pizza in the room and they all got to sleep in "mom and dad's room".
